ENTANGLEMENT

Group show - B-Part Exhibition

Through an international open call, PEP and B-Part Exhibition invited artists to reflect on the theme ENTANGLEMENT through the lens of their individual practices. In a time marked by deep interconnection and global complexity, the selected works explore photography’s capacity to reveal the visible and invisible networks that shape our realities.

The participating artists approach the notion of entanglement from a wide range of perspectives. Some examine human relationships and intimate bonds, capturing the fragile interplay between connection, dependency, and vulnerability. Others turn their attention to broader systems - ecological, social, and political - highlighting the intricate structures that link individuals, communities, and environments across scales. Several works engage with the natural world, drawing attention to unseen forms of communication and interdependence, while more conceptual approaches evoke the poetic and philosophical dimensions of connection, echoing ideas of entanglement that transcend physical boundaries.

Together, these works reflect on a fundamental condition of existence: nothing exists in isolation. Through personal narratives, collective histories, and experimental visual languages, the artists reveal how identities, landscapes, and systems are continuously shaped through interaction and mutual influence.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between diverse artistic voices and perspectives, highlighting photography’s capacity to render visible the intricate networks that connect us, while opening up new ways of seeing, relating to one another, and understanding the world.
